1. All sites applying for membership to The Poetic Journey Webring must be poetry related. All sites applying for membership will be visited by the webring owner prior to approval, to review content of the applying site. If the webring owner finds that the applying site's content is acceptable, your request for membership will be approved. The webring owner reserves the right to remove any site's membership if she finds that the site is no longer worthy of membership.

2. If your site has links to porn, suggestive adult erotic material, profanity of any kind or alternative sexually suggestive lifestyles then it must be marked clearly (keep in mind that it is likely sites such as this may not be accepted). Any sites which depict rasicm and prejudice of any kind will be not be accepted. Any site with any sign of animal cruelty will not be accepted.

3. A copy of the HTML code for the webring was sent to you via email when you joined. For your convenience it is also listed in a textbox below.

4. Copy any images required for use in the HTML code to your site's directory. The webring owner will customize the graphic for the webring for all approved sites with the name they choose.

5. In order for the webring panel to function properly on your site, you must edit the HTML code in these areas:
A. Where you see YOURSITEIDHERE - replace with the siteID that was emailed to you when you first signed up.
B. Where you see YOUREMAILHERE - type in the email address you wish to use for the webring.
C. Make sure any links to images used for the webring panel are correct, and pull all images from your site.

6. Save the changes to your site.

7. You will not see your site listed in the sitering until you have been approved. You will be notified by email once you have been approved. If your membership has been declined, I will email you, and also remind you to remove the sitering panel from your site.

8. Sites will be reviewed from time to time to ensure they are are in compliance with the above rules.
