Do Not Cry For Me

Do not weep for me,
Should I go.
I am here for you,
More than before.
Your tears will only cause me sorrow,
And make me run away.
So instead, let me see you smile,
So that I may know our happiness lives on.
For each sparkle in your eye,
I shall see our memories float by.
Our time together will never end,
As long as I see a glimmer of joy in your heart.
So do not cry for me,
For I am here.
A fading image,
Only weakened by tears.
Do not cry for me,
And we will never part.
